Pique is like a soldier – Shakira Pique is like a soldier – Shakira

Shakira and Pique
She may be obliged to cheer on her native Colombia at this summer’s World Cup, but Shakira has admitted she’ll be supporting world champions Spain in Brazil, and that she is proud to be a WAG.
The pop superstar, partner of Barcelona defender Gerard Pique, insists she’ll be Spain’s biggest groupie in South America as Vicente del Bosque’s side look to retain the World Cup after their victory in South Africa in 2010.
“I never knew I would be so proud to be a WAG,” she told The Sun. “But I am one of them – and very happy about it
“I go to as many of his games as possible and I wouldn’t miss the World Cup. I’ll be there this year as a groupie.”
The 37-year-old Colombian met the 27-year-old Spaniard Pique a year after the 2010 World Cup success, having made the video for Waka Waka, the official song for the tournament.
And Shakira admits she respects the life footballers have to live, insisting Pique is like a soldier who gives all his time and focus to the team.
“I have to live in Barcelona because Gerard is anchored here. Footballers are like soldiers, he can’t really travel and go away with me.
“I have an undeniable relationship with football. I feel part of it. I never thought I would end up dating a footballer but it’s great.
“There’s something about the mind of a footballer. He has a totally different mindset to me.
“He always thinks about how everything he does will impact on his team. That’s very different to us megalomaniac artists.”
Shakira  admitted she has been inspired to write ‘’many love songs’’ for Pique over the years, but insisted he ‘’deserves a million’’.
Speaking to The Sun on Sunday newspaper, she said,  ‘’I’ve written many love songs for Gerard. But it’s never enough. I feel that he deserves a million love songs written for him.’’
Together, the couple welcomed son Milan into the world in January 2013 and Shakira has admitted Gerard’s career as a soccer star for Barcelona means they have to be mainly rooted in the Spanish city.

Guipure lace

Guipure, also known as Venetian lace, is fast becoming the preferred fabric not only for celebrity weddings but also as a red carpet staple.
The rich fabric, which was used by guests for both Peter Okoye and Tiwa Savage’s traditional marriage, was also worn by ladies who graced several red carpet events lately, including the just concluded African Magic Viewer’s Choice Awards.
It is a fabric with a rich history that dates back to 14th century Venice. It is designed from various materials including linen, silk, organza, cotton e.t.c but what makes it different from other lace types is that the patterns on the fabric are connected by threads. Also, unlike other lace types, guipure has no net background.

Styling guipure
1. Inner lining. It is principally a transparent fabric so you need to line it with another material, preferably one with a thicker texture.
2. Enhance your shape. There’s no fabric that flaunts curves quite like lace. When wearing, ensure that it accentuates your best assets.
3. Go peplum. Got curves? Flaunt them with a peplum. This is an easy look that will make your waist appear smaller and enhance your figure in all the right places. Add nude stilettos to elongate the legs.
4. Mix it up.  Experiment by pairing lace and print fabrics. The combo adds an extra element of dimension to an otherwise simple outfit and instantly catches your eye.
5. Say hello to color. Traditionally when we think of lace, neutral shades come to mind. But you should invest in an array of bright, bold hues.  This will keep you looking young and fresh. It makes you glow. Whether you chose turquoise, tangerine, or classic red, don’t be afraid to experiment.
6. Minimize hair and accessory.  Hair and accessories should be kept as minimal as possible.  You don’t want to take away from the sex appeal of the lace, so keep it sleek and easy with the rest of your look.

Ladies and Tuxce

Tired of wearing fancy dresses? Take a cue from Maje, Vimbai and Susan Peters, wear tuxedo designed for women
Why it is so hot
Tuxedo jackets are quite popular these days among fashion conscious ladies who simply love an elegant look regardless of whether they are at work  or at a party. For women, tuxedo jackets can be a great option for both casual and formal occasions.
1. Keep It fitted
The tuxedo trend is all about embracing tailored looks, so make sure that when you’re pulling it off, all your pieces are well fitted. Go for slim cut trousers and fitted blazers to really make this look work.
2. Stick to separates
If you’re not keen on an all-out tuxedo look, stick to separates instead. Pair a chic white tuxedo blazer with black leather trousers or a floaty chiffon dress. Alternatively, team some tuxedo trousers with a silky blouse and layered necklaces.
3. Wear heels
Vamp up your basic tuxedo with killer stiletto heels. Heeled shoes will add a feminine touch and make the tuxedo look more glamorous. An almond toe or pointed pump is timeless whereas a strappy heel can be more modern.
4. Make it monochrome
Tuxedos look extra sleek when worn in a monochrome color palette. Black on black is foolproof but if you’re feeling adventurous, a white on white tuxedo is fresh and stylish.
5. Add color
A tuxedo can be a bit of a blank canvas, so inject some life into your look with some color. You could go for beauty touches like a colorful lipstick or manicure, or maybe with accessories like a colorful clutch or heels.  Adding a shot of color is a stylish way to make a statement.
6. Add touches of lace
Channel your inner femme fatale by teaming your tuxedo with lacy elements. Instead of a plain blouse, wear a lace camisole or bodice under your tuxedo jacket. A hint of lace peeking out from your tuxedo jacket looks stylish and seductive.
7. Play with texture
Try wearing a tuxedo jacket in an interesting texture. A lush velvet tuxedo jacket can give you a sense of opulence whereas a sequined number can come across as more playful.

SPOILERS BEWARE!!:‘Teen Wolf’ season 4 adds new characters

More news about Teen Wolf season 4 is trickling in, and this time it’s about another new character.

In a spoiler chat with E! Online, we’ve learned that a new cop will be making his mark on Beacon Hills. The only problem? He won’t be as kind and understanding as Sheriff Stilinski.
“The powers-that-be are looking to bring in some extra law enforcement to help combat the crazy,” E! writes. “In season 4 we’ll meet Deputy Haigh, and if we’re being honest… he’s kind of a dick.”
Agent McCall aside, we’ve been pretty lucky with the law enforcement in Beacon Hills. They’ve been fairly benevolent up until now (unless you’re Derek Hale), and although they have a job to do, it seems like they at least try to give the citizens of Beacon Hills the benefit of the doubt when it comes to some of the shadier things that go on in the Californian town.
Deputy Haigh doesn’t sound like he’ll be one of those.
Law enforcement officers that we’ve seen previously include Sheriff Stilinksi, Stiles’ dad; Agent McCall, the lone FBI agent and Scott’s dad; Deputy Graeme, who was killed by the Darach; and Deputy Parrish, who we last saw getting attacked by the werewolf Kinkade.
Teen Wolf season 3 is wrapping up as we enter the final stretch of episodes. There are only four left, including the one airing tonight. Teen Wolf season 4 has already been announced, much to the excitement of fans.
Previous season 4 information includes the fact that we’ll be returning to 12 episodes per season, instead of the 24 we had in season 3. We also learned about a new character named Liam, who will be played by Dylan Sprayberry. Another new character was added to Teen Wolf season 4 in the form of Mason, though we don’t know who’s playing him yet. And, finally, we’ve gotten word that Meagan Tandy will be back to reprise her role as Braeden.
Teen Wolf is currently casting another character for season 4. Find out what his name is and who he might have as a romantic interest next season!
In a spoiler chat with TV Line, we learn that Teen Wolf season 4 will be adding another brand new character to the roster. His name is Mason, and although his part has not yet been cast, we do know some information about him.
TV Line says Mason is “an out-and-proud athlete,” and he’s “funny, witty and handsome.”
Mason is “the best friend of Beacon Hills High’s new star lacrosse player, and we’ll meet both guys next season.” Could this star lacrosse player be Liam, whom we’ve learned about previously? There was no talk about Liam being an athlete, but he was described as “handsome and cocky,” and if that doesn’t describe your typical high school jock, we don’t know what does!
TV Line describes Mason and his best friend as “Danny and Jackson 2.0,” but they’re quick to point out that Mason will be much more involved in the supernatural aspects of the show than Danny currently is. Considering we’ve also been told that Liam is not prepared for the “supernatural storm he’s about to enter,” it makes sense that perhaps Mason’s friend is Liam.
Without any more information, however, we’re only left to speculation! And speaking of speculation, Mason’s description of being “out-and-proud” is also interesting for the fact that while there are several other characters on the show Mason could get involved in, it has been hinted that one of our leads could be bisexual. Could Mason be a possible future love interest for one Stiles Stilinski?
Speaking of Stiles’ love interests, TV Line also mentions that while there isn’t a romantic future for him and Lydia in these final few episodes of season 3, “their bond will play a major part in the pack’s rescue efforts.” They go on to state, “Lydia has a deep connection to Stiles, and that will be crucial when it comes to ridding him of that pesky Japanese spirit. The question is: Can their connection also overcome his feelings for Malia?”
Let us know what you think of these two spoilers in the comments!

How to Build Self Confidence

Build Self Confidence Intro.jpg
You want to be confident and feel confident, but what if you're starting with little or no confidence? How do you get from Point A to Point B? True self-confidence isn't an overnight acquisition. It takes dedication to realize you are a good human being that is worthy of respect and love.

Building Self Confidence

  1. Build Self Confidence Step 1.jpg
    1
Recognize your insecurities. What does that voice in the back of your mind say? What makes you uncomfortable or ashamed of yourself? This could be anything from acne, to regrets, friends at school or a past traumatic or negative experience. Whatever is making you feel unworthy, ashamed, or inferior, identify it, give it a name, and write it down. You can also tear these written pieces to start feeling positive on those points.

  2. Build Self Confidence Step 2.jpg
    2
Talk about it with friends and loved ones. Wear it on your sleeve. Each day you should chip away at it; wear it down. There's no quick fix. Get to the root of the problem; focus on it and understand that you need to resolve each issue before you can move on. Check if it's an old past emotion and if it is really still relevant or applicable in your life today. And that doesn't mean you have to get rid of whatever makes you feel bad (many times, you simply can't). You need to learn to accept yourself, your past, your circumstances as they are, without necessarily thinking of them as "bad".
  3. Build Self Confidence Step 3.jpg
    3
Bounce back from your mistakes. Remember that no one is perfect. Even the most confident people have insecurities. At some point in any of our lives, we may feel we lack something. That is reality. Learn that life is full of bumps down the road. And that often these insecure feelings come and go, depending on where we are, who we are with, the mood we're in, how we are feeling. In other words, they are not constant.
  4. Build Self Confidence Step 4.jpg
    4
Identify your successes. Everyone is good at something, so discover the things at which you excel, then focus on your talents. Give yourself permission to take pride in them. Give yourself credit for your successes. Inferiority is a state of mind in which you've declared yourself a victim. Do not allow yourself to be victimized. Express yourself, whether it's through art, music, writing, etc. Find something you enjoy. Everyone is born with talents and strengths. You can develop and excel in yours. If it's difficult to name two or three things you have some ability in or just plain love to do, think about things others do that you would like to do too and take some lessons or join an enthusiasts club. When you're following your passion, not only will it have a therapeutic effect, but you'll feel unique and accomplished, all of which can help build your self confidence. Plus, adding a variety of interests to your life will not only make you more confident, but it will increase your chances of meeting compatible friends!
  5. Build Self Confidence Step 5.jpg
    5
Be thankful for what you have. A lot of the times, at the root of insecurity and lack of confidence is a feeling of not having enough of something, whether it's emotional validation, good luck, money, etc. By acknowledging and appreciating what you do have, you can combat the feeling of being incomplete and unsatisfied. Finding that inner peace will do wonders for your confidence.
  6. Build Self Confidence Step 6.jpg
    6
Be Positive, even if you don't feel the same way. Avoid self-pity, or the pity and sympathy of others. Never allow others to make you feel inferior--they can only do so if you let them. If you continue to loathe and belittle yourself, others are going to do and believe likewise. Instead, speak positively about yourself, about your future, and about your progress. Do not be afraid to project your strengths and qualities to others. By doing so, you reinforce those ideas in your mind and encourage your growth in a positive direction.
  7. Build Self Confidence Step 7.jpg
    7
Accept compliments gracefully. Don't roll your eyes and say, "Yeah, right," or shrug it off. Take it to heart and respond positively ("Thank you" and a smile works well).
  8. Build Self Confidence Step 8.jpg
    8
Look in the mirror and smile. Studies surrounding what's called the "facial feedback theory" suggest that the expressions on your face can actually encourage your brain to register certain emotions. So by looking in the mirror and smiling every day, you might feel happier with yourself and more confident in the long run.
  9. Build Self Confidence Step 9.jpg
    9
Fake it. Along the same lines of smiling to make yourself feel happy, acting confident might actually make you believe it. Pretend you're a completely confident version of you; go through the motions and see how you feel!
  10. Build Self Confidence Step 10.jpg
    10
Stick to your principles. It might be tough, but if you don't have something you can believe in, you don't have anything. If you don't stand for something, you will fall for anything. No matter what's happened in your life, you can always lay claim to the fact that from this day forward, you've followed your principles to the best of your ability.
  11. Build Self Confidence Step 11.jpg
    11
Help others. When you know you're kind to the people around you, and are making a positive difference in other people's lives (even if it's just being kinder to the person who serves you coffee in the morning), you'll know that you are a positive force in the world--which will boost your self confidence.
  12. Build Self Confidence Step 12.jpg
    12
Avoid perfectionism: Perfectionism paralyzes you and keeps you from accomplishing your goals.

Tips

  • Condition yourself to talk positively about yourself. Every time your mind wanders and say you are not apt at it, pause for a minute, undo those negative vibes and say you can do it. At least you should make an attempt to accomplish that daunting task. With that, you will learn more about yourself.
  • Exercise and eat healthily. Exercise raises endorphins and makes one feel happier and healthier. It is certainly an easy and effective way to boost your self-confidence.
  • When you are feeling terribly insecure, write down your positive traits and read them back. This feedback would give you surprising results.
  • Do not be afraid to push yourself beyond your physical or mental limits. Such a pressure would help you see how easily things can be achieved and thereby helps you hone skills. Step out of your comfort zone.
  • Avoid perfectionism. Perfectionism paralyzes you and keeps you from accomplishing your goals.
  • You can provide yourself with an extra dose of confidence by using the Best Me Technique of self-hypnosis to pre-experience the rewards of a long-term goal, thereby reducing the stress.

Warnings

  • Don't be overly kind to everyone, usually you will end up being taken advantage of.
  • Do not mistake being loud for confidence. Some loud people cover their insecurities. If you are happy with yourself, you are confident.
  • Do not get wrapped up in your mistakes and dwell on bad points. They could turn out to be a healthy contrast to your good points or even give you something to improve. There is no feeling like being good at something you were really bad at.
